Here’s How It’ll Go Down
When we toured venues, we wanted to pick a spot where we could not only tie that dang knot, but also have a really fun space to hang out with our loved ones. Our wedding is the one time we get to see all y’all in one place so we want to soak it up! We invite you to make a weekend out of it, enjoy a lil trip and get the heck outta town.
Can’t make it to the whole shebang? No pressure. We’ll take as much of you as you can spare and we’re stoked to see ya!
If you take a gander at the fun tab, we compiled some stuff in town for a choose your own adventure kind of vibe. But if you want to hang all weekend, here’s the game plan.
Thursday, May 7th
Hitch a late flight, drive in, etc.
Friday, May 9th
Day: Explore a bit around town, grab a bite or get out in nature! We have some suggestions in the fun tab :-)
7:00PM - 10:00PM: Welcome Party at Happ’s Place! A cutie little trolley will be running pick up/drop off rounds from in front of Highlander Mountain House, starting at 6:45PM and running til 10:30PM. Roads are windy and dark out here, we suggest taking the trolley if you can! If you drive please be extra careful!!
Saturday, May 9th
It’s wedding day, babey!!
Chimney Pond Farm. Glenville, NC
3:30PM - 4:00PM: Shuttles will be running from in front of Highlander Mountain House and also stopping at Trailborn Highlands. We humbly suggest getting on the early shuttle not only because there is limited space and we gotta get your buns to the venue, but ALSO because there may or may not be some extra special fuzzy friends waiting to greet you with some bubbly. The trip is roughly 30 minutes.
5:00PM: Ceremony
6:00PM-10:00PM: Cocktails, eats and dancing! Bring those boogie shoes.
10:00PM/10:30PM: Shuttle back to Highlands with drop offs at Highlander Mountain House and Trailborn Highlands
Sunday, May 10th
10:00AM: Swing by Highlander Mountain House for a blue grass Mother’s Day brunch. Safe travels back!
